Once again, I do apologise. By way of explanation, we've had a lot of extra issues recently with the Royal Mail strikes and so our customer service has been under unusual pressure. We've also taken on a new assistant which slows us down a little due to learning on the job and taking away other assistants for training. They're doing great and so am confident we're now responding to issues in our usual timely manner. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Verified reviewCowling & Wilcox are one of the old, trusted art suppliers, and I have used their goods since the 1980's. In terms of service and delivery they were absolutely fine. However, the goods supplied did not match the online description, though if you scrolled carefully through the pictures you could see that the brushes were not Daler Rowney, as stated, but an inferior brand. I have given more details in my product rating.

These brushes are made by Lukas who are part of the Daler Rowney brand and are highly regarded in their home nation of Germany. We buy these directly from Daler Rowney and see no other Lukas products so it was more straightforward to include the brand as Daler Rowney. In the product's description we include the following text to explain this further: "This fantastic collection of brushes from Lukas (part of the Daler Rowney group) is exactly what you'd expect it to be: fantastic value for money!"
