Verified reviewAfter buying online several times, I'm quite envious of people who shop in their stores. The contact and customer service is so personal and friendly, and staff really know their stuff. Obviously the range of stock and their prices are bang on, but great service is what makes them my first choice for buying my art materials online.

Verified review• Standard delivery took almost a week to reach me. • At the time of my order, the website stated 'Spend over £60 and receive a free brush', but my free brush was not included with my order. OK, it's supposed to be free so I technically am not missing anything from my order, however, the offer was the reason I kept my order above £60; so I was disappointed by this. Despite this, I would still order from Cowling & Wilcox again. To give four stars would indicate I had no problem with my order, however, because of the non-inclusion of a specified free gift and/or no explanation as to why there wasn't one with my order, I have to give neutral three stars

Thank you for taking the time to review us. I'm so sorry it took so long to arrive as we send all our standard deliveries out on a 48 hour tracked service. I can only apologise for this on behalf of our Carrier as I see we sent it out the day after we received the order. Concerning the free brush, I'm so sorry you didn't receive it. We did run out of stocks early but I'll see if I can find one for you. We'll be back in touch soon. Kind regards, Guy. ** Update ** HI, we've found you one of our free brushes in our shops and we'll send it out to you as soon as we receive it back. Once again, sorry for the inconvenience.

Verified reviewFound the site good, the sale items good value, delivery quick, packaging was somewhat less than good, a slightly damaged package. However all the art materials have survived ok, just one or two broken charcoal sticks. I will be using again.
