When I contacted them to let them know it was implied that the items weren't actually missing from the order & the staff absolutely couldn't have made a mistake, leaving me to feel as though I was being accused of scamming them. I have been told however that these items are now being sent.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. I'm so sorry we made you feel uneasy with our response. Our packers will often pack some of the goods inside others. For example, if a customer buys and easel and soem paint, we'll often protect the paint by packing it inside the easel. Often, once this is explained, our customers will find the products. However, I've looked into your order and can see this outcome makes no sense at all in your case as you just bought 4 paints. I can only apologise for this mistake and not looking properly into your order before responding. I can assure you never wanted to cause offence, it's just that it's such a regular occurrence where items are packed inside others. Particularly the paint brushes. They are quite stiff bristles.

Thank you for coming back to me. I'm sorry to hear that. They are from Pro Arte which are an excellent British brand but the bristles are hog so, you're right, they can be quite stiff. If you think there's a defect with your particular product, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our customer service team. Otherwise, maybe you could try a synthetic brush instead, you'll find this more malleable? Kind regards, Guy.

Thank you! I’ve used hog before, but not previously found them quite so hard! Maybe I will try a different brand! I do have a mixture of synthetic etc with my other brushes

Verified reviewThe paper pad inside was slightly damp as the package was very cold on a cold and wet day, and the packaging minimal ( Jiffy bag ). Paints minimally wrapped. Slightly surprised given the cost of what I had ordered. Would have been fine we’re it not mid- winter.
