Verified reviewCowling and Wilcox are a great company. They offer a wide range of artists' materials at very reasonable and competitive prices, which they dispatch very quickly to anywhere in the UK. A big plus is that if you spend more than £50, delivery is free .

Verified reviewThe order process and delivery communications were very good but the protective packaging left a little to be desired. The box was damaged and later on we found that the main product was too. It was heavy as a ream of paper was inside then only wrapped in a couple of layers of brown paper. I hadn't opened it before it was wrapped and given to my granddaughter. I have photos.

Verified reviewOrdering with C&W was easy and all correspondence with them brilliant. Just that they use EVRI / Hermes as courier and the goods did take 6 days to get to me... which was a bit annoying as the EVRI update was making me think it was going to be sooner. So C&W excellent, but please change courier!

Thank you for taking the time to review us. I'm so sorry you've had an issue with your delivery. I've looked into this and we despatched on the evening of the 07/01 on a 2-day service and they delivered on the 10/01 (a Saturday) which I think they would argue is probably acceptable. We use many different Carriers: Royal mail, Evri, DPD, DHL, DX, etc. and I can assure you they all have problems from time to time. We're very happy to use other Carriers if you know they understand your area better. If you contact us at admin@cowlings.com for your next order we'd be happy to switch to another Carrier, eg. Royal Mail. Also, in the near future we're looking to implement a system where you can choose the Carrier.
