Verified reviewThe delivery service was very disappointing. The courier used repeatedly sent massages with delays and ECOALF customer service was poor, AI generated nonsense that excused the delivery delay. Unfortunately let the company down and I will not order from them again, which is a shame because I have had several purchases without any problems. However when they get it wrong they get it wrong spectacularly!

Verified reviewThis is my first order with the company and I’ve not been Impressed tbh, the trainers I wanted for work are full price in the uk but on sale at the company nearly half the price. Primarily I wanted to move toward more ethical options for footwear and choices are limited. The sizing is odd 41, which I’ve always believed is uk 7 is apparently 7.5 here, 42 (8) is 8.5, I’m 7.5-8 so between sizes it seems. I put 41 in my basket but then sometime later tried the 42 locally and decided that was the best option due to a little pressure on the toe in the smaller size. I returned home and paid..then it hit me..it was the smaller size left in the basket I’d now ordered. I immediately emailed but didn’t expect much as it was Saturday, a very correct ai response came back saying they would try to catch the order and exchange before dispatch, Monday another response saying similar..was it ai? Mid morning I groaned as the order had left..wrong size..nothing they could do..£8 carriage and coming all the way from Spain for nothing, delivery was stated as 3-5 days but it said a week was the expected, then in the fedex emails I noticed an option to stop and return the order as it was still in Spain, I selected it in hope..no reply..a day or so later I followed up ..no it was still coming (ugh) they said the order should be stopped by the retailer..why hadn’t they tried this? Inexplicably the delivery was brought forward a week, so actually just 3 days as proposed?? All the emails from customer service have been very fast in responding (almost immediate) and the flat/inflexible/by the book tone left me wondering if it was a real person even! At one point they confirmed it was. On receipt I immediately returned, the exchange costs another £8 carriage (so painful) but this time the delivery has quoted a week..and then it was extended by a day! And this time it’s remained as such so 3 weeks wearing naff shoes in my new job. Overall just a very slow and expensive experience with no effort made to think outside the box or keep me happy on the part of customer service which seems short sighted managing a first experience, I kind of expect this no frills approach from ethical companies..but I have to say companies adding a bit to the purchase price and saying it’s “free delivery” or “free returns” ..psychologically..it works! I don’t think I’d be tempted to shop with the company direct again.

Verified reviewHuge charges added after the sale and then received a damaged jacket that was balled up and crumbled into a too small shipping box. Very disappointed. Returned the damaged item but not without too many tone deaf emails from an AI chat bot. Then wasn’t refunded appropriately. After complaining I got a full refund but the entire experience was not appropriate.
