Review collected by a third partyReally difficult & disappointing situation. I made a typo when ordering but noticed it immediately after sending the order (in the confirmation email). I contacted the company twice in apx 5 minutes after seeing this but never received any reply. They did of course engrave what was sent to them complete with the wrong information so the gift is useless. There is no point in having a 'contact us' link on a website if you never read them or reply to them. This could have been immediately resolved but was ignored & you got my money. Disappointing.

Review collected by a third partyI love Merci Maman jewellery and I have various beautiful items brought as gifts. However over the years the quality and durability of the items has deteriorated, in my opinion of course. I just want to highlight my recent comms with them regarding broken bracelets x 3. Two of which were recent gifts for Christmas/Mother’s Day. To note these items are gold plated so it’s impossible to get them repaired at a jeweller’s , believe me I tried. Having one repaired already I emailed them to ask if they would repair them , and I would pay. Given they have a workshop it would make sense .. I found their response dismissive, a little passive aggressive , and they just stop replying once they have given their own resolution which was basically no and here is a discount code to buy another piece. I don’t feel they actually understood. So now I have treasured sentimental items that I cannot wear. They will of course say it’s me in their response and 1000’s of people don’t have issues! To note I’m a middle aged office worker not an adventurous mountain climber ! I do wonder how many customers come on line to feedback weeks/ months later to say their jewellery has broke. I note in all there responses to negative feedback that they ask for an email to resolve but I’m not confident that this is the case given my experience. Really disheartening experience overall.

Review collected by a third partyI placed an order for a Father’s Day gift on 10th March and paid £15 for the 1-2 day delivery service (Father’s Day was 15th June). The package has still not arrived. Merci have refunded my postage charge, but are taking no further responsibility and are dismissive of my correspondence now, even though the gift has still not arrived. Order with caution, especially if you’re looking for a gift for a special occasion.
