Dear customer, we have taken note of your comment and your rating, which we feel is particularly harsh in your case. You ordered a Nature solid oak panel, 160 cm long, 105 cm wide and 2.6 cm thick, with rounded corners, for 492.93€ (delivery free because order > 300€). Unfortunately, the panel was mishandled in transit and arrived broken at your door. Wood is a fragile material, and despite the care we take in packing orders, it can sometimes be damaged in transit. As you did not follow our instructions, no reservations were made upon receipt of your product. It is regrettable that you did not follow the instructions we give in the dispatch e-mail, as the damage is not necessarily visible from the outside (this information is also contained in our General Terms and Conditions). However, so as not to leave you without a solution, we offered to send you a new panel, manufactured at our expense and for which we only asked you to contribute €37.49 to shipping and order preparation. You accepted this proposal. Conclusion: we're surprised that the only thanks we get is this minimal note and this lapidary comment. In fact, from a strictly contractual point of view (i.e. in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions), we were under no obligation to make you this offer. Good day to you. Jean

Unfortunately, despite prior discussions with customer service to validate the plans, the material received did not conform to the request. This may have been due to a glitch in the ordering process, which must be carried out via the website, with the manufacturing process being specified in the comments. Or a simple human error, it happens. The problem was quickly resolved, with a great deal of professionalism and patience on the part of customer service, and the compliant material was sent out as quickly as possible. Still, this had an impact of almost a week on the site's implementation, which could be avoided with a more thorough pre-shipment verification process. The last drawback, which is not really their fault, is that although it's a good thing they offered free shipping, the carrier they chose was really bad. First delivery, the pallet was broken and a slight impact from the pallet truck was present on one of the boards. On the second delivery, the delivery man left my wife to fend for herself with the pallet, claiming that he wasn't allowed to enter the customer's garage... Whereas his colleague had done so on the first delivery. To sum up: - Good quality equipment - Very good customer service - Regrets a mistake that could easily have been avoided - Free shipping -Very poor choice of carrier***
