Verified reviewOffice tray configurator (for me): be careful when you make changes to the cuts, don't forget to recheck the other cuts: when I wanted to add rounded edges to the corners, I didn't see that the chamfers on one edge had disappeared, which was a pity for the aesthetic aspect... Verified reviewThe site and the ordering process are top notch, everything is clear, including dimensions, available options, price, etc., nothing to say about that. On the other hand, I live in a second-floor apartment without an elevator, and in view of the substantial weight of the desk tray I had ordered, I had asked in the additional information if it was possible to have it delivered upstairs. I waited a few days after placing the order, but when I didn't hear back from them, I called the after-sales service, who told me that it was indeed written down but not taken into account, and that they would get back to me to give me the price if possible. I wait 5 days, still no news, so I call a second time and I get the same answer, they'll check with the carrier and keep me informed. The day before delivery, still nothing. So I call the delivery man directly and he tells me that they haven't received the request and that they agree to deliver to my floor on condition that I help the delivery man (whom I thank, by the way), which seems coherent to me. So I'm taking 3 points off ilicut because I don't think I was in an isolated case for the delivery, and I think it's a real shame to have had to call several times only for the solution to come not from them but from the deliveryman. Especially as I imagine that packages from this site are generally not light. The beginning was great, but the end is much less so.***

During the summer, our customer service department had to call in temporary staff to cover for the absence of staff on vacation, and it seems that there were human errors and oversights in the handling of your order, essentially due to a lack of experience. Verified reviewI had discovered La Boutique Du Bois by chance in 2019 from memory. Since then the quality has gone down and the price has gone up ... I ordered the same worktop, same oil, same essence and I have two products quite different from 2019. You can clearly see if there is a worse oil or less coating or worse gasoline. After all, the product is still of excellent quality, but I wanted to make the same plan as before and now I can clearly see a difference, so I'm a bit disappointed ...***

Dear customer, We would like to thank you for your comment. For your order, we used the same Blanchon oil that we used in 2019. Having said that, wood is a living material and it is quite possible that your old worktop will have developed a patina over time and that your new worktop will have a different tone to the old one. This is also what makes wood so charming, but wanting "the same plan" was impossible. It's also important to bear in mind that, over time, differences in shade will fade. Verified reviewEasy order, reasonable delivery time and price. However, the panel was not flat..., the packaging was amateurish and the chipping was noted by the deliveryman. Who would have thought that a VERY FRAGILE red label on cardboard packaging could guarantee optimum quality on arrival at the customer's premises. Definitely worth another look. Very, very average and unprofessional! Extremely disappointed!***

Firstly, regarding the flatness of your panel: wood is a living material that reacts to hygrometric variations in its environment by shrinking or expanding, which can lead to deformation. If you have ordered a raw panel, you will need to apply a finish to protect it from these natural wood phenomena. In addition, our packaging is designed to protect our products during transport, while minimizing our environmental impact. This is why we use specially adapted cardboard boxes. That said, despite our best efforts, we can't avoid the risk of products being handled carelessly, and sometimes being damaged in transit to our customers. That's why it's also important to check the contents of parcels on arrival and to make any necessary reservations. If we are mistaken, we have not been informed of the damage you mention.
