Site was pretty good to navigate, intuitive. I had some problems with the search, but i still managed to a wine i wanted to buy. Delivery was fast, though the package company didn't inform me that the package has even left France. Bottle was intact and well packaged, and the wine was in good condition. No complaints.

I received the package via a second party to the initial shipping company. When we opened the box, which had been covered in tape by the courier, we found only the wooden carton, but the bottle of wine was missing (a double magnum of aged champagne). The idealwine provided no support, no solutions and no refund despite their claims of trusted shipping partners. This was a horrible experience all-around. Highly discouraged unless you can collect in-person. We will never trust this service again.

Wrong calculation of storage fees. After reclamation, it was partially correct but still wrong. No feedback at all to my second reclamation. As I was not willing to wait any longer and to pay further storage fees, I paid the bill although still too much. This was not the first time that communication was very poor. I ordered very much in recent years, but now I'm having more and more an eye on other auction platforms.
