Both of the 'wood-based' auto corkscrews failed within six months with only light use (6 bottles/week). I have now bought the newer (immemorable name) grey version but the foil cutter does not work at all. The new version with vertical ridges is *much* nicer to hold and use. I just hope it lasts longer than the 'wood' versions!
