Review collected by a third partyThis company is really very much style over substance and the images online are somewhat misleading compared to what you get. I ordered a personalised communion necklace for my niece recently and was really excited about the order, but have to say that I am very disappointed with what's arrived. The packaging is lovely, but the item itself is disappointing. The charm is much smaller than it would seem to be in the online images - if her name had been any longer than 4 letters I really don't know how it would have fitted on the charm. It really is tiny. The ribbon is incredibly thin and looks poor quality - and I now realise that in order to wear it my niece will just have to tie a knot in it. I have honestly never seen or bought a necklace before that needs to be tied on!!! This is really not what I expected for a £49 item.... I have contacted the company and they have offered to put a clasp on it for an extra £10 but I don’t really have time to return the item before the communion. Plus, I have never before bought a necklace, not even a cheap one from a high street store, that charges an extra £10 for a clasp!!!! Obviously I have no choice now but to give this disappointing item to my niece as it can't be returned, but I will not be ordering anything else from this company and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. In retrospect, had I looked around a little more, I could have bought something much nicer with the £49 that I have spent on this necklace.

I had been very specific with the type of engraving I wanted - both in the order form and on the phone to an adviser - and what arrived isn’t what I asked for. The prices aren’t cheap, so for what we pay for a necklace, we do expect the end result to be perfect. They offered to re do it, but the process to return is hassle I don’t have the time for - at a time where the bar for excellent customer service is rising, it’s a real shame. If you’re happy with just their standard products go for it - if you need anything tailored you’re unlikely to get what you want.
