If you'd like to know what we're talking about, here's a brief description of the controversy between us. 1/ You have placed an order for an Acacia Nature panel (Length: 60 cm - Width: 65 cm - Thickness: 1.8 cm - : 43.72 Euro(s)) 2/ You received the panel but didn't take the trouble to check the contents of your order, as we specify you should do (wood being a fragile material). 3/ You then wrote to us claiming that you were unable to carry out this check because: "The deliveryman left the parcel and drove off very quickly, his car having stopped on the street itself (and not in a parking space). When I arrived at the door, the deliveryman was already in his car and ready to leave." your e-mail of February 27. You also asked us "how can we proceed to make the exchange, refund or other compensation". 4/ We therefore asked the carrier for his version of events, and it turns out that, as we wrote to you, "the code provided on the proof of delivery is confidential and only you could know it and enter it on the receipt." However, we offered to redo your order at our expense, asking only a modest contribution of €12.12 for postage and packing, and giving you the option of keeping the first order (easily repairable according to the photos you sent us). You finally accepted our proposal. Conclusion: As a general rule, our customers are grateful to us for offering them a solution when nothing other than the desire to please our customers obliges us to do so (as a reminder of our General Terms and Conditions, which you validated: without reservations, the product is deemed to conform to the order). We therefore leave it to the reader to make up his or her own mind as to the relevance and bona fides of your rating, and sincerely regret that, despite our magnanimous offer, you have given us such an appraisal. Verified reviewThe contact was very good, the order was well prepared and the dimensions ordered were exact. On the other hand, your adhesive labels on each piece of wood leave marks or residues and are, in my opinion, totally useless. The "cleanliness" of the cross-cuts in the solid panels leaves something to be desired. As for the black Valchromat MDF panels, they have a lot of surface defects, many areas with very visible "waves" (approx. 0.5 mm.), as if the panel had been shaken during thicknessing. At this price, this is not acceptable. If I lived in France, I'd have refused them. But paid in advance, and given Switzerland's position in your delivery organization, I'll make do. I don't think I'll be using your services again.***
