Verified reviewThe UX (user experience) is not great on the site. When you add your products to what seems to be a basket you are actually bidding on them which appears to give you an obligation to pay within 14 days or be charged a holding fee. This could be much more clearly communicated then it is. I also ordered my wine to the UK which it seems is liable for import taxes which again was not made clear during the order process and makes the cost of the wine much higher then i was expecting. When ordering online i expect the journey to provide this information so it is clear of my total cost when purchasing. I happen to work in the digital UX space so I am usually not easily caught out by these situations but if i am its because the experience is usually very confusing/unclear and is probably costing iDealwine repeat customers/revenue.

Dear Sir, Adding a good to your basket and placing a bid on an auctino are two different thing, and the difference is noticeable by how the sale is displayed (every auction is mentionned by the legal term 'auction') VS for fixed price wine you have the mention 'Add to basket'. regarding the taxes adn duties, you should have read the nformation just before confirming your payment, the invoice was VAT excluded which means you don't pay any taxes on our website but will have to pay them to the shipping compagny. I only purchased fixed price wine and not an auction so i dont see how those unwanted bottles remained in my account with no way to remove them then. I've just given you free UX advice and im an expert in the industry when it comes to UX experimentation. It seems your response is to tell me im wrong which seems odd and egotistical.
