Se c’è un sito che negli anni è diventato per me un punto di riferimento assoluto nel mondo del vino, è Idealwine. Compro da loro con continuità perché riescono a combinare due aspetti che raramente si trovano insieme: affidabilità totale e un’esperienza d’acquisto davvero fluida. In un mercato dove la fiducia è tutto, qui sai sempre cosa aspettarti: servizio preciso, gestione impeccabile e zero sorprese. Il sistema d’asta è uno dei grandi punti di forza: semplice, intuitivo, veloce. Non devi perdere tempo a capire meccanismi complicati, entri, partecipi e concludi in modo naturale. Ed è proprio questa semplicità che lo rende anche divertente. Ma la vera differenza, secondo me, sta nella selezione. Non è il classico catalogo scontato: trovi bottiglie ricercate, etichette di livello e soprattutto una presenza costante di annate importanti, anche molto vecchie. Per chi, come me, ama andare oltre il vino “facile”, è una miniera. The delivery with UPS is not good. The delivery day is not respected, and they actually don’t know what they are carrying, so the care of the wine is not sufficient. And if you are not at home, what happens frequently, the wine goes back, in the heat of the van. UPS should be aware of what kind of things they are shipping, wine, specially old wine, is fragile
