Excellent as always—and a huge step forward with the packaging As always, the buying experience with Idealwine has been splendid. However, this delivery was particularly satisfying because the bottles arrived packed entirely in cardboard containers. It was a massive improvement over that repellent, static-charged styrofoam that sticks to your fingers and is incredibly messy to handle. The day Idealwine completely eliminates those synthetic materials from all their shipments, the purchasing experience will be absolutely perfect. Highly recommended.

The wine is not the problem, but the shipping in styrofoam. All the white little balls get loose when opening the box fly away into the envirenment. It is so pollutionaire. Please stop that.

My experience was a negative one, not because of iDealwine, but because of the logistics provider UPS. Delivery had been promised for Saturday, but UPS didn’t turn up without any prior notice. The new delivery date was Monday; according to the message they’d been at the door but received no answer – there’s always someone there to accept the parcel, so that’s nonsense. The parcel finally arrived on Tuesday; it was damaged, and the polystyrene inside was completely destroyed (photos available on request).
