Verified reviewI would emphatically recommend NOT to use this company if you live in UK. So, what is wrong with them? 1. They promptly responded to my messages before my purchase. The frequency and style of their messages changed drastically after I had made the purchase - of course! 2. It took them almost two weeks to send me the package. When I wrote to them explaining that the delay was a major issue for me, since I was travelling for several weeks, they first blamed it on Black Friday, then on Brexit. They refused to take any responsibility (even if the courier is their contractor!) 3. I have told them that their website is misleading because, even when you switch the zone to UK, it still says that delivery is done within 72 hours. In my case, the courier picked up the parcel after 5 days. Anyway, beside the logistic nightmare, I think there is nothing worse than a business that consciously lies and does not take any responsibility. If this is what ethical business are supposed to be, we are doomed. I now just have to hope that their shoes are not different colours, or worn, or all the other problems flagged by other reviewers on TrustPilot.

We would like to clarify several statements made in your message, as they do not reflect what actually occurred. At no point were you spoken to in a rude or inappropriate manner. A different matter is that you may not have liked the information provided, but that does not make it incorrect. For example, our last email was the following one: “Your order is out for delivery today. However, please note that since Brexit, any customs hold is completely outside our control…" Customs inspections and releases are entirely beyond our control, and stating this clearly is not avoiding responsibility, but being transparent. Regarding your claims: We responded to your messages both before and after the purchase. Any perceived change in tone is simply due to the fact that, once an order is placed, responses necessarily focus on logistics and objective information, not sales enquiries. The order processing and shipping times were explained to you truthfully. High-volume periods (such as Black Friday) and customs procedures after Brexit do affect delivery timelines, regardless of the courier being a contracted service. These are well-known external factors and not something we can override or accelerate. The delivery time shown on the website refers to estimated transit time once the parcel has been dispatched, not to order preparation time or customs clearance. This information is standard in e-commerce and not misleading. We categorically reject the accusation that we “consciously lie” or act unethically. Providing accurate information about situations that are outside our control is not dishonesty, and refusing to take responsibility for matters that do not depend on us is simply correct business practice. Your order was shipped, delivered, and handled according to the conditions stated at the time of purchase.

Quick question: if you know that because of Brexit or because your courier has been rather unreliable (as per other reviews), why would you keep the message that delivery is in 72h on your website? You already know that, for Black Friday, orders are likely to be delayed. Why would you not state it when someone is about to make the purchase? Finally, if you were unable to ensure that my delivery happened within the stated 72h, why did you not respond to my request to extend the return period? Last point: are you really saying that continuing with a courier service that clearly does not stick to the 72h is not your fault? I work on contract compliance, and I could never tell my cline that "it is not my fault if my contractor does not deliver". I am buying the shoes from you, not GLS, so you are responsible for everything related to my purchase, including delivery. Anyway, it seems that your TrustPilot score says it all - dismissing criticisms is not really helping you.
